It would seem to me.
That you’d almost want to reverse the minutes and seconds ring sizes on the dial. Functionally it would make more sense to have the most ambiguity in the seconds function. You would then flip the two rings on the dial to preserve the hierarchy of time if that is what they are going for.
I love the idea. The other way to do this perhaps without changing the dial layout is to make the minute function a jump function and design each minute as numerically represented. Mixing analog and digital is well tried in watch making and would resolve the practical problem as well.
I’d by the watch but for that ambiguity if it presented an annoyance to daily wear because this is my perfect casual watch ( though I do wish it were 39mm as well)
