Killing time…
My flight back to Vancouver was pushed back. So naturally I decided to check out two dealers here in Phoenix.
The cubitus wasn’t as bad as it looks in photos but not great in person either imo.
FPJ CB…the tantalum is very cool but wasn’t overly impressed by it. I guess I don’t really understand the hype. If I want something with brand and history in that range I’m going Patek. If I want more watchmaking, I’m going Greubel! P
The gold tropical dial ap was my favorite. It’s a little too polished though, some parts of the bezel were not great.
Hit and miss on some of the DBs. I like the titan Hawk a lot but prefer the normal version. Blacked out John player special is a little too tacticool for me.
The APRO in black ceramic was very cool, but I’m not a huge ap fan and would opt for a Greubel over that.
Lange tb was cool too but a little boring. The anglage was less thick than the anglage on my Odysseus. Very interesting. Noticed the same with a regular Lange 1 they had

Tastes change, and I’ve come to share the same opinion on the FPJ CB and Lange. I’ve also come full circle and started to re-appreciate the AP RO line. Hope you made it back safely
Aside the looks.
The De Bethune watches are the ones that fit the best on your wrist IMO.
