Mostly Yes
The issue was revealed by a few original PuristS owners who reported it.
There was no "repair", as such, but the affected watches were "adjusted" so the seconds hand/s sat more horizontally to not touch the watchglass underside.
This came about because of the applied raised nameplates/cartouche at position 3 and 9 on the dial. The high pivot let the hands clear the dial but the tolerance was tight for some touched the glass. Normal single seconds hands have a bigger tolerance to being a bit off-horizontal but a 4-pointer seconds hand has none.
They used genuine ETA movements.
ETA have a special medium height pivot but minimum order was tens or hundred of thousands more units than our limited edition
Besides, now ETA does not supply ebauches.
As the special PuristS ABR was a limited edition, simply replacing the case is possible but loses a major component that made the edition - the case.
Everyone opted to keep their case.
Any affected would be very soon after purchase and they were adjusted by service centres unde warranty.
