Glad to hear that the winding mechanism was fully powered.
The problem described is known and since the PuristS edition, all future 'Rescue' models will have a slightly higher case bezel. Not perceptible to the human eye or touch, this 0.5 microns change will ensure the seconds hand NOT touching the crystal under-surface.
