My CWC Royal Navy Diving watch Quartz movement, my most accurate watch?
After a long hunt I finally got my CWC watch last April.
It is not a rare watch and it is possible to buy it through the web shop of its maker but living in my Country makes things more difficult and I could never find one for sale here.
So I finally found mine through a well known watch platform and bought it in mint condition full set equipped with a quartz movement and had it sent to my USA address.
I confess that I’m not very fond of quartz watches though I own a few.
But this watch really surprised me: I set the watch for first (and only) time on April 12th 2024 using the phone App I always use to set my watches.
That’s six months ago. I wore the watch daily for the following ten days and put it away in rotation with other watches and afterwards I used it from time to time during the following months noting that each time I took it from the watch box I couldn’t detect a visible deviation from the App time.
This had never happened before with any other of my watches quartz or mechanic during a six month period.
I’m really surprised by the performance of this watch in spite that my test is not very scientific: just checking the time visually and detecting any deviation with the App as I do with all my watches.
I took a picture today to share it here. No visible deviation!
I like the watch so much. It looks very strong, reliable … and very accurate. And if it is good for the Royal Navy it’s good for me!! 😉
Best cordial regards
