I didn’t know that Orologi was only started in 1987. Watch magazines have been around for as long as I’ve been interested in watches, and I assumed they’d all been around for much longer. I just noticed WatchTime was only started in 1999. Very interesting...

It’s always difficult to compare watch prices at different periods as we should have exactly the same model as a reference.
But, regarding the examples you gave us, watch prices have obviously increased more significantly than inflation. Inflation rates over the last 25 years are as following : +43% in France, +76% in the US and only +18% in Switzerland. Best wishes Alkiro
