Horological Meandering

One sunny and very hot day with heat wave warning Saturday in New York, I visited the super wonderful flagship boutique of Ralph Lauren to check out the Ralph Lauren Watch and Jewelry pieces, especially those which can be seen only here. This building use...  

Although I'm sure that these calibers are great but I must confess that I really couldn't get myself to like them Or for a better word not to my taste I'm sure there is a targeted segment that does like and buy them I'm afraid I'm not one of them Again th... 

It let me know more about a brand and products that I normally don't pay attention to.

I really like the look of that 867 Square Model In White Gold.

Surely, it depends on each taste and I agree Ralph Lauren Watches are not for everyone. But the ultimate designer brand watch must be like these, I thought. Thank you everyone for reading my (as usual) lengthy report and hope you found something you didn'... 

I'll be sure to visit the boutique on Madison next time I'm in NYC next month! The slim watches are nice, but I really like Tetu's 867 model. Thanks again for the very comprehensive report Ken!

Hi Patrick, just one little detail.....The 867 timepiece was designed before Guillaume came on board. He's done a great job thus far, but I was the lead designer for RL watches until 11/2016. I designed the dial with the team in New York, including Ralph ... 

That's probably my favorite design from the RL collection. Too bad, the current 867 model is a little too big for me.
