Nice review!
Reminds me of what I was thinking about when I wrote my review on the PuristSPro ABR watch back in 2009!
I found the accuracy neither here nor there (ironically the most accurate watch I've worn was not the Jaeger-LeCoultre tourbillon nor the Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Chronometer but a nice simple Montblanc Rieussec Chronograph Hometime), but I thought the lume on the dial was quite sufficient. In fact, I recall noticing how bright it was across my bedroom when I was sleeping in bed at night. I also did not notice it had issues with the winding system. It has a fairly reliable ETA 2824 movement.
I really liked your review, and I especially liked your photos. Your photos really seemed to capture the brightness of the carbon fiber dial. A difficulty I had because I was constantly trying to photograph the watch indoors with indoor light. I wore it exclusively on the black silicon strap, but it certainly looks cool on the red silicon strap! Wished I was not so serious as I could've easily gotten away with a splash of color back then.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on no. 167!
