I have to second your thoughts. I've got the same model. Love that cream dial. Even my wife commented on the look, the craftsmanship and the detail of this watch. She never said anything about my PP (I should clarify that my PP is Patek and not...) 
i too, enjoy wearing it, although I've been donning my ABR recently.
I would have to agree with Don, though, that I sometimes DO get mixed up with the 24 hour hand. Graham's black dial accomplishes the differentiation a lot easier.

I wish you wouldn't post photos of that watch. I am now trying to get the idea of purchasing one out of my mind. Could you answer one question re: the GMT function. Does it advance the 12 hour hand "Rolex style" or the 24 hand ummmm ETA module style?

I wear the GS 65% of the time and the Roger Smith 35% of the time. I will get some pics of the dark navy band. I wish the brown was truer to color in the pic. It sort of has a common tone with the yellow in the dial. I am going to try some daytime picture...

Had it a 6 months. Best, 1st class look and finish, and not on every wrist in town.
Least is definitely that it does not have a screw down crown with better water resistance. I might normally complain about the luminous hands, or lack there of, but the finish is flawless so I think luminous would mess it up.

I agree the lack of screw down crown is a minus, but given this watch was originally designed to be on a leather strap I think that is acceptable. The bracelet GS models typically do have screw down crowns. I see a second GS somewhere in my future. - SJX

What I meant was that the GS models originally designed to have bracelets typically have screw down crowns, like the GS spring drive chronograph or the spring drive GMT. The other automatic GMT model that resembles a Rolex Explorer II also has a screw dow...

Seiko loves several lines of text on the dial. Even the simplest GS models, hand-wind time only, have quite a bit of text on the dial. - SJX
