But seeing this actually makes me appreciate the new release as a great tribute.
The vintage case looks more « balanced » to me.
On the new one the dial looks too much « behind » or « too deep » the bezel imo. But maybe it’s just the picture.

43 diameter is ok but 51 lug to lug on top of my head maybe a concern.

We at this community can not wait when we can see your new Longines. I go to do some thinking work before i decide to buy or not to buy. To be or not to be.
What i see is
Longines instagram. The size is nice, but i am afraid it would be for big wrists. Or it can scare watch fans who prefer small time peaces.

For me there are more non starters. But… overall it is not a bad looker. If it is the watch that make somebody happy, it is a useful watch. This happen when i read and see the Majetek. It do let me think about the Cartier Santos someway.
I love many, almost most, of the Longines remakes
But this one is a miss for me. I give them kudos for trying to create something which isn’t a 99% facsimile of the original but I feel they missed the mark here.

And it may not be true... Do they want to make it look like a nautilus? With that wider case and that curved shape, and that crown guard🤔 the dial is very nice and i really dun't mind it is not a reduplication of the old one.

It basically means Pilot Property, not Pilot's Property so it reads and connotation is more like "Pilot. Property." Basically just 2 random words together without a proper meaning. Without getting into linguistics you do not need to use pronoun after Maje...
