Not sure about it.
I would like to know how reponsible was Marc Newson in the design of the Ikepod watches, because this one clearly looks like an Ikepod, and the name Canopus, reminds me of the "never saw the light Platypus".
I guess he must own some of the designs and movements from the old times. The movement looks like the same one in the Hemipode Weekplaner, so nothing new here.
The watch is not bad, every part look very high quality, but trying to revive it with a former company name, I think it's not necessary, imho. We need some fresh air.
There are customers for anything in this world, but to me, when I see a watch that looks VERY modern, and the history says from 1888, sorry but there is something wrong.
If I would take part in a kickstarter?, why not?, if I like what I see and think it worth it, would do it.
Wish him and his team best of luck, but I don't see it.
