Reviving an old brand using Kickstarter?
Came across this project by the former owner of Ekepod, Oliver Ike.
He's reviving (resurrecting?) an old brand 'A Manzoni and Fils' with a new watch...
Its not exactly what I like, using an old name, for fake heritage.
Why can't they use a brand new name, rather than use an old name as a crutch?
But at least the watch is mechanical, and its interesting, with a full calendar watch with moonphase.

What do you guys think about this approach is selling mechanical watches? Would you take part in a 'kickstarter'?

Not sure about it.
I would like to know how reponsible was Marc Newson in the design of the Ikepod watches, because this one clearly looks like an Ikepod, and the name Canopus, reminds me of the "never saw the light Platypus". I guess he must own some of the designs and mov...
