... I thought, when reading your witty and humerous report on your Vienna powershopping experience: not another purist how becomes crazy about this Longines Legend Diver watch on this site! As two well-known members of this forum (do I really have to tell their names 
?) more or less regularly post their wrist shots of exactly this watch, I started to observe it some time ago. Imagine my surprise when it turned up at the end of your post after the AP, Moser, V&C and IWC watches - what a clou!
And all this from our UN moderator who had just recently posted about his spectacular new UN GMT perpetual elsewhere! This Longines Legend Diver seems to haunt me - I will have to see it in natural. My favorite for practical purposes would also be the date version.
Congrats on your new acquisition (without being nosy - I liked your contamination "acquiration", as it is a perfect blend of acquisition and adoration !).

Wonderful to read some honest, well articulated impressions of watches. Well done. I have tried to buy the Longines Diver. I know a lot of people love it and I understand why. I wish I loved it too, but I just can't get there. Jeff

Congrats on your new purchase! I see you opted for the date version. I'm still so in love with my non-date LD. It's a great watch IMO. Also, like you, I'm terribly impressed by the Moser Perpetual 1. What a smartly designed (IMO), and beautifully executed...
The date-less variant is the more genuine one ...

I think the Longines Legend Diver is a beautiful and comfortable watch. It's finish and details are almost too good for it's pricerange. Just bought mine a few weeks ago and still happy with it... and amazed. Maybe mostly amazed by it's very fair price. P...

funny thing is i had no idea it was that popular and whats even more funny is i recently got one only for it has still to arrive i would say any day now so now im looking forward to it even more, thx for sharing your day of shopping marcus.
