Pam116 question
I parted with my 562 a few months ago and I have been looking at getting an older model to replace it. The p5000 was a great movement and I have nothing but praise for it but the magic never quite happened, unlike my 25 for example.
I have made up my mind about the dial (painted) and 2-hander base, which only leaves dial color and caseback into play. I have been looking at the 55, 116 and 176g. Now here's the question: I found a late F series 116 with a black painted dial, has anybody seen such an model before? I thought black dials were introduced on the 176/177 series, as such wasnt expecting to find a 116 with a black dial, maybe there was some overlap with late 116s/early 176s. Thanks in advance!
