I have two IWC watches based on the 5000 Caliber movements: the 5001-07 Potruguese and the 5002 Big Pilot. And, I have owned other 5000s. I also have a GO Panomatic Reserve XL, which uses the GO 90 Caliber. All three are outstanding watches that I enjoy. But, based on my own experience, my GO is more accurate and consistent--always within 3 secs/24 hrs and never any discernible difference in performance from changes in postition or level of activity. Meanwhile, my 5000 series watches run within 10 and 12 secs/24 hrs and performance does vary with resting position or level of activity.

I stilll cannot make up my mind so I need all the help I can get. I know I can rely on all my brothers here in HOME ) But defintely going to AD and see the actual watches in the flesh would really help.

I love the PML but not the blue dial version. It does not seem to me a harmonious design. I much prefer the silver dial version. The Laureus IWC dials on the other hand have this amazing rich color. I understand what you mean about the accuracy though but...
