Because the watch was ordered by a client who lives in France. The shop called me just before giving the watch to his happy owner. So I don't know now where it will be possible to see it "in flesh". Fr.Xavier

Do I understand correctly, it sounds the hours, but never the minutes or quarters? The finishing looks nice, but I am less an enamored by open-face watches recently. Any idea how they make the good sound, chimes, gongs, bells , who knows what? Thanks for ...

...the way the second hand moves in these Spring Drives? I agree with what you wrote about being able to spend hours watching it glide around the dial. I just went to a local AD yesterday to fool around with some Seiko Spring Drives, and I'm always amazed...

i'm surprised to hear that its only an hour repeater or to be precise an hour chime, its a bit disappointing as although i could never afford one i'd still like to think i want one if you know what i mean. from what i understand Don, the gongs are tuned b...
