Some details...
Hi,
besides the style, which looks a bit unusal for Heuer of that period , here are some tech details:
- case back, look at the different style of signing, while steel and numbering is clearly stamped, Heuer
signature seems to be milled or otherwise etched with different process - that should be stamped as well.
- dial looks refinished to me, washed out/rounded edges/transitions of small register dials and wrongly
printed with swiss made (should be Switzerland during that period)
- movement chrono bridge is grinded down (jewel sinks are too shallow, compare with the others), surface different from
other bridges and engraving work is sloppy - different depth of letters - besides that different signature to case ....
That's only few points, but enough to know what it most likely is.
Best regards
Suitbert

To be honest, I am not sure how much of this piece is original, so if the resident experts here could point out some anomalies or shed some interesting light on the piece, I'd really appreciate it! That said, I really like the piece as-is regardless of it...
Thanks! Now...

Thank you for the detailed descriptions of the issues! Going back and examining I agree those are all strong pointers to the fact that the parts are not original and have been tampered with. It's all in the details and you are helping me get a better eye ...
