Thank you for the detailed descriptions of the issues! Going back and examining I agree those are all strong pointers to the fact that the parts are not original and have been tampered with. It's all in the details and you are helping me get a better eye for them, so thank you!
Although I can raise the issues with the seller and most likely get my money back, I am still going to be keeping this piece, it will serve me as a ticking reminder of the lessons learned. Plus, original or not, I still do like the piece from an aesthetic perspective (the color of that dial!) and I'll make this episode a part of the piece's history. Perhaps not as a subset of the Heuer history, but a misfit one of its own.

To be honest, I am not sure how much of this piece is original, so if the resident experts here could point out some anomalies or shed some interesting light on the piece, I'd really appreciate it! That said, I really like the piece as-is regardless of it...
I hesitated to write it, but yes, I am not feeling very comfortable with the originality.
I am not expert, so no statements, here, just guess / intuitions. I don't think the movement goes with the Watch. To me, the movement is much later, compared to the dial. But let's wait for a more serious opinion... Best, nicolas.

Hi, honestly, I personally don't believe there's even one "part" original Heuer. Dial, case and movement all looks signed/refinished at a later point..... Best regards
