You know, if it was your Dato I’d have owned back then I’d likely still have it. As much as I did like the Up/Down, and I made a conscious choice that it was better for me than the OG Dato, ultimately the size was too much for my wrist.
Similar story on the AP. When buying it, at the AD, I was back and forth between it and the 15202. My wife was pushing me toward the 15202 but Ive always had a pull towards busy dials and so I chose the ROC. I think the 15202 would have stood the test of time on my wrist better.

Over time I fell out of love with it. I’m just not crazy about “Ice Blue” dial mixed with “chestnut brown “ bezel. Luckily the secondary market was hot when I let it go.

The weight of watches never seems to bother me. I know many don’t like heavy watches though. It’s mostly the dial color I didn’t appreciate. Baby blue is far from my favorite color 😁. Slightly too feminine for me. Just my personal opinion 👍

Not even. It was sitting in the case.
And I went back and forth for about a week thinking about which one to buy. There was no danger of the AD not having both ! This was 2012, when the 41mm ROC was released.

Around 2015-16 they told me four months, and they had a sample in the boutique to try it on Now I can’t wait for my 39mm chrono to return from service!
