Horological Meandering

For my new JLC TT Geophysic SS, I would like to get a new strap, rugged looking black leather (padded?) with vintage contrast stiching, and the watch has 19mm lugs with 18mm buckle. Do the more experienced have a strap maker suggestion, that has no proble...

They are the OEM supplier to JLC and make custom straps as well. Depending on the material chosen and other options, you might be able to come close to your $150 budget. And if you just can't find a strap you like for the watch, I'd be more than happy to...

But possible if it's not in gator or Croc. Be also prepared to revise your budget to <$200. Besides ABP and CF, I've had a good strap made by John of Dangerous9 straps, who made a grey curved end one for my FPJ. Good quality and excellent communication Gu...

What device are you using?

Chrome browser on a Macbook Pro. Same issue with Chrome on my Android phone. It just shows up as plain text to me in both cases.

Met him years ago but haven't had occasion to get a custom strap from him. You should also check with Kenny at fredawatchstraps.com and Walt at lonestarwatches.com . They are both in the US and both sell custom straps made by various manufacturers...

I was recently at the boutique and put in my first custom strap order. First time for me with anyone doing custom so hoping for the best. What I like is their price is for total package and there are not add-ons, for example same price for curved end vs. ... 

The reason I started the thread is that majority of strap websites I have seen do not offer off the shelf 19mm lug size, and those that do taper to 16mm buckle, not the 18mm buckle which the Geo has. Same story with my other watch that has 21 mm lug size....
