Sounds right. They didn't do anything terribly fancy re: decoration on the 2892s, unlike some of the other limited edition pieces. (Was it the "Trophee" with all the floral hand engraving?)
I do like the dial work (lacquer, I presume,) on the Caprice models.
How many people here owned a Dubey & Schaldenbrand back in their heyday.....
I had a few but now only own one of them. Their history was interesting in that they bought up and hoarded mechanical movements during the quartz crisis. And then released these type of art deco-ish models. ...
I used to look at them a while ago
I think their creative burst was around 1999 if I am not mistaken: they had some interesting models and unusual shapes/complications. But I never pulled the trigger.
I'm stuck with this one.

Very different dials. That chronograph is very unique.
I didn't come across this brand earlier. It appeared to have experimented a lot with dials. I like them. Thanks for posting. Regards

Actually, my wife, who is a southpaw, has two from Dubey & Schaldenbrand, both left-handed, which seems to have been a D & S specialty back in the day.
The Spiral Cap and the rose gold Caprice 03 LE. (Both modified ETA 2892-A2 calibers.) If I remember right, D & S used to do some really cool hand engraving on vintage movements. I haven't heard much from them since Cinette Robert sold the outfit. Do they ...
