Excellent suggestions and you have given me a lot to think about. I thought about the Blancpain and the UN and I think I will look at those again as well. For me on this it came down to price as I just dropped a bundle for the platinum 70eme and I was looking for a "beater" that I just did not have to worry about. I think I would still always "worry" about a BP, UN, GO, etc..., but your point is extremely well taken. I thank you for the comments.

I'd go with something steel-cased, but thin enough that it could still be work under a shirt cuff. Personally I'd also avoid 7750-based movements. They are tough and accurate, but compared to the rest of your collection they'll feel very rough. My thought...

MTF, Thank you. This is fascinating. Amazing complications in the dimensions. I want to try this on as I never really looked at a Piaget, no reason, just never did. I think I need to re-evaluate this course of action. I appreciate the path you are putting...
