you're absolutely right about the beauty of the movement and the tremendous amount of work that went into it, if I may request over the years I've learnt a lot from you so I am sure if you research it more or ask your colleagues and friends who share our interests maybe one of them knows the story of this movement, where did it come from?, when was it made? who made it? 
its a good old mystery.
Yes the Orient comes with a bi-lingual day date wheel and I can change it myself or leave both wheels in either language and it will continue in that language iunless changed.
