I really fell in love with this model. The Marvin Flying Dutchman was to the Dutch KLM what the Universal Geneve Polerouter was to the Scandinavian SAS, so it has a really cool backstory as well. The fact that it is still under the radar and an incredibly rare watch makes it even cooler than the Polerouter for me.
This particular dial configuration is somewhat of a unicorn - I have not even seen a picture of a second one anywhere on the web. I really fell with the gilt text and the sunray pattern, just sublime. One of my cheapest watches but definitely my favourite amongst my entire collection, as it is so special and unique.
Who else is wearing a gilt dial today?
