Horological Meandering

In my eyes perpetually perfection... Also surprised there’s no IWC corner here. The brand killed part of its reputation I guess... makes me sad to see this ...  

I haven’t had a great time with IWC. My Portuguese is hard to live at times. It was these older watches that got me into the brand in the first place! This is example you have here is beautiful. Really shows how good the old IWC was. Was this before Riche...

Thank you for the response. It would be nice to have an IWC forum to talk about the brand. I hope we have one someday soon. Maybe it is difficult for reasons are out of our control.

Hi Alkiro I love the IWC brand. I had a Big Pilot for many years. I currently have a St Eupery Special Chronograph. It is a nice brand, one that would do well on this forum. Has it ever been considered adding IWC to the forum list? Thanks CB

I have it for about 15 years now. Really like it because the Da Vinci case didn’t really do it for me. This has a classic case shape and the Kurt Klaus complication that doesn’t need any corrections. Still the best perpetual calendar in my eyes... Also by... 

Brilliant perpetual calendar mechanism, reliable and well modified base movement. What more could you want!

IWC changed its strategy to broaden its customer base. Maybe the traditional customers were disappointed but globally speaking the image and the reputation of the brand remain strong. Fx
