This is the first dress watch in years that I had to have. I think because it is so unusual in every way... and that it can be worn casually. I tend to be 'cautious' when I first get a watch... love? I never know til I keep a watch for a couple years... b...

Congratulations on a great F.P.Journe. I enjoyed your poetic words very much and I always love it when another Purist reaches enlightenment. I have long since decided that when it comes to F.P.Journe, you either 'get it' or you don't. There never seems to... 

But none of his designs were ever 'mine'. The foremost collectors in my acquaintance all own Journes, or several Journes. And I've always been blown away by his excellence at all levels. I admire these men, so I pay attention to their choices in watches, ...

It's always 'haunting' when a watch follows you around like this. I too do not wear dress watches all that much... and little by little sold virtually all of my dress watches... but this watch.... it's just one of a kind. This may be the first watch that ... 

As beautiful as this piece is in pictures, they simply don't do it justice. I've been back to the boutique twice to try it on, and I'll probably head back over again next week. No, I don't have the funds on hand to buy one now, but like a moth drawn to a ... 

First pictures are a bit blurry but the watch looks very good overall ! The dial is really eye-catching.

You know... I purposely chose those odd photos of the dial to offer a different expression of the watch... I know this is the Purists... and I really admire those extraordinary photographers among us... but I kept seeing 'the same' photo of the CS everywh...
