Obviously this period delivered some truly amazing watches and at least to me it is no surprise they are now garnering so much attention and appreciation as so many of them are not only beautiful and charming but are also of a high quality.
As someone born in 1960 the years the article referenced were quite simply the times of my life, life was far simpler as computers weren't really a thing yet and IMHO quality of life and the ability to enjoy it was far better and easier to achieve. As us old folks like to say the good old days LOL.

neo vintage is great! It's like a greatest hits album. There's room for error though, like with faux patina. Besides that, modernity has enhanced traditional watchmaking with sapphire casebacks and the like.
