Horological Meandering

Thanks Miranda...

for your systematic approach and such well speaking pictures.
I can't argue with your conclusions, but want to add what I see in those pictures.

Charactoristics of Dufour and Rexhepi
They are flamboyant with:
 - Very wide and rounded bridge beveling
 - Very wide screw sinks
 - Rexhep also has wide beveling on the very thick wheels
 - Perfect polishing of the bevels
 - Relatively course surfacing of the geneva stripes
 - Very white rhodium plating

Note the difference to Ferrier and Voutilainen, for example:
More sober, less flamboyant
 - the quality of the beveling is every much as good, but half as wide.
 - the same goes for the screw sinks.
 - the surfacing of the geneva stripes is much finer.
 - The wheel beveling is thin, allowing the cerclage to take more of the focus

The Journe and Chopard beveling appear to be in another class being straight and mechanical.
If they are done by hand or machine, I cannot say.

I have a slight preference for the Voutileinen, Ferrier style as it seems to me to glow.
The very wide beveling of Dufour, Rexhepi makes them more shiny and the courser geneva stripes makes them brighter.
But that is a matter of taste, they are all dream watches.
