I have always enjoyed being in this community, this family here on PuristSPro! When I first started liking watches, I thought I was a mutant... Finding PuristSPro was like finding Charles Xavier school of gifted talents Now I know I am not alone lol! Chee...

The setting was a very rustic dining room. Not some overly modern restaurant. There were no menus. People declared their dining preferences and allergens. The food came out family style and was not individually plated. The food always came out hot, someth... 

I'm glad it went well and sorry to have missed it (although my car would have looked out of place in that parking lot).

I've been thinking about you and your lovely square VC, the gold one with the bark-like finish. Oh, and my car looked out of place too. It was a tiny white hatchback, a rental. But it actually looked reasonably sized with the low-slung Ferrari parked next... 

A very pleasant obligation, but I was quite sorry it conflicted with the gathering. I hope to see you soon.

I'd expect you to attend my 65th Birthday Party over your watch society gathering. Admittedly.

A memorable dinner with memorable food, wine, and company. Not to mention seeing some unusual vehicles.

But we should not let that be our obstacle to hold GTG. We are facing the similar problem here in Malaysia. Often, we have whisky or wine drinking, or travelling for good food GTG. Using purist friend's wedding or birthday as an opportunity/excuse to get ... 

putting these thing together is a HUGE task. seatings; limitations; no shows; personalities; differing values and budgets... Many daunting hurdles to face. Thanks for not giving up.

Thanks all who attended despite the long weekend holiday for Memorial Day requiring commitment to family and National events. Others were recreating that famous line: "What happens in Sin City ..stays in Sin City". (Las Vegas) Of course, we could not comp...

of watches, the Paul Gerber Purists is my grail watch and big regret that I was not able to get it, good to see it out and about enjoying itself. S

of being in that former camp of "real life intrudes" as it was my kids end of year recitals.. looks like a great time (as expected) was had.. these GTGs always seem to conflict...until next time Purists...

When i was a teenager I always said that someday I would own a Lamborghini or Ferrari. The Ferrari I always wanted was the 308. Thirty-some years later I have fulfilled the dream. Next time you are in town I'll have to take you for a ride!
