This watch was ingested and became impacted at the end of the small bowel leading to obstruction. Ingested foreign bodies are more common in children, but the usual direction things get into the bowel in adults is the other way. You can use your imagination as to why.

Impacted timepiece in terminal ileum

A common prisoner tattoo is a watch or clock with no hands. Time may seem endless to the inmate, and there is plenty of clamor to remind him of meals and yard time. I haven't known one to swallow this style of watch yet, but nothing surprises me any more....
