Thats a nice spaceview.
Here's a 'hummer' of mine.
An Omega F300 constellation, case 198.003 (now since sold), from the early 70's if I recall correctly. Fitted with the Omega cal 1250, which was a rebadged ESA 9162, using a design licensed from Bulova I believe. Quite a nice steel case, with various brushed and polished finishes.
I always used to like the low 300 Hz whine/hum they made if you listened closely. That and the very smooth sweep of the second hand.

in this thread i think, as well as the original Bulova Accutron we can include brands like Omega that used the licenced movement. i think you'll be surprised that there are more brands than you might first have thought. at one stage i owned over 40 tuning...

which said something to the effect of 'last year 97% of our electronic watches were chronometer certified' as they were selling tuning forks by the shed load. much preferred to quartz for obvious reasons. it does amaze me how many purists have tuning fork...

It needed a repair about 12 years ago
but I know a watchmaker who does it in his shop so it was not sent in. The case is as I have always worn it. Best Andreas
