Hi All, I was inspired by PPlater's new trousers for his Pt/WG F.P.Journe Resonance to start this thread. The Resonance, and its owner, have a new lease of life; a real transformation. Have you any other stories or photos of how a change in strap or brace...

Does it have any sort of historical link, or is it a more erecent phenomenon? Did the company start this by offering a large OEM choice, or was it small independent makers that contributed to the craze? And why Panerai more than othe brands? Is it because... 

as the Journe example you gave Andrew, but I find my Omega Railmaster XXL can change character quite significantly when it changes straps. The OEM strap is quite dressy, slimming from 24mm to 18 at the clasp so is very good for formal and semi formal appl...

If you buy one you will not be disappointed. In fact, you will wish that they had not stamped the company name on the inside, just so you could wear it either way. Very well made - very supple - very comfortable. Cheers, pplater.

why are the two time displays on such odd different times ? not a time zone issue i assume ? is it so you can arrive late at meetings and point to the display of choice and claim: "look, it's only xyz now" ?

I find it very appropriate that my five hundred and first post be in reponse to you Nicolas. I just hope that Dr. No shares this "unbeatable" address with me. Maybe this is the type of strap that would go very well with my TTP 68 that will eventually need...

i don't have this same Experience with Sraps like you and others. but i'm only Wondering about ONE Thing.! which is Why would a Strap maker use a Croco of Gator on the underside of the Strap ??!!! i can understand the Benefit of Rubber underneath for Hot ...
