This is an excellent point and we discussed about it.
It is the reason why the next generation of Celsius phones will be less dependant from technology: they will become more and more "mechanical objects" and their functions will be a mere telephone. The only requirement will be an access to the telephone network.
Obviously, the DB M won't face this problem, you will only need to adapt the pouch if the telephones change their sizes.

the DeBethune as the watch can be removed and used as
a PW, the Celsius is a phone and when the technology is obsolete or the phone stops working... well the 200k tourbillon becomes completely useless. To tell you the truth the Celsius was probably one of the stupidest products I had seen in years!

Honestly, I find these telephones ridiculous.
What a strange idea to mix the cell phone and horology... To me, they are not watches nor cell phone anymore, to what I guess to be at a ridiclulously high price. A serious brand should avoid this kind of ... Gadget. Well, in my opinion. Best, Nicolas.

It was something I didn't expect from them and well... the whole stuff is so heavy that it is not useful. The context is a bit different with Celsius, it is their core business. Fx

to see mechanical watchmaking try to embrace the technology that will likely push wristwatches out of everyday life for most people. I like the DeBethune as a pocket watch though. Best Andreas

No! I don't like it. If I am going to pull out my phone to see the time I might as well just check the time on my phone. On the other hand it is stylish. Well I guess it depends on the price and how good it protects my phone because afterall it is a phone...
