Yes, for a couple of years. Needed something easily visible that could be strapped over the race suit sleeve. That was in 2007, when B&R released the 'smaller' version.

It truly was an immense efforts that, at my now advanced age, can not fathom trying to do now. Racing also cost me my first wife. She was very much not a fan of the risks that were being taken, plus the time away from her......

I was only a modest track day user for about 10yrs or so, punctuated by a few yrs of go kart endurance racing. All behind me now, like motorcycle days, I've even managed to keep my current car stock (so far). May look for a 1st gen br03 after seeing yours...
Definitely not!
B&R is solid mid-level luxury, many people can only dream of stretching that much. As usual, passion is not measured by the depth of one's pockets! I still remember when the BR01 came out, it was a real shock in terms of design!
