That seiko movement is a delight
One of the few movement I find very pleasing to wind with just the right amount of mechanical feel.
Yes, they have done a great job
making it enjoyable from a tactile, auditory, and visual perspective. That said, in terms of haptic feedback, the Cornes de Vache is still a notch above, for me. Best, Emmanuel
Yes, best manual winding movement
among my collection and best haptic I’ve personally experienced along with Laurent Ferrier (either tourbillon or time only). Visually, there’s nothing to see, but the haptic feedback is wonderful.

I played with the steel version years ago but have no recollection of the winding feel. I do remember it was lovely in person, if a bit small for my liking.

So you have it here! I know that Patek is hand finished while the 9SA4 is only partially hand done. Nevertheless, totally holds its own. Wonderful pieces!
