Horological Meandering

Vast topic, my friend.

The first time I paid an incredible interest to a watch, it was a Timex, given for the Xmas of my 7th birthday by my godfather. I became immediately mad, and spent 3 sleepless nights looking at the dial, shining in the darkness of the night.

Then, at 14, I saw Thomas Magnum 1675. Bingo, I made a promise to myself that I would get one one day... You know the story: first a decent job, then paying the house, then the car, and here we go.

I started with a Rolex, the GMT MASTER I promised to myself some 22 years before.

Then, I wanted to make all the professional modern Rolex: GMT MASTER, YACHTMASTER, EXPLORER II, DAYTONA. Not all, as the Submariner and the Seadweller are missing. But I was more interested in their vintage references...

So, very few years after, I made all the Pre Vendome Panerai Watches.

I also noticed some Jaeger Lecoultre which were very much my taste, as well as GP, Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron, Patek, and so on... Hence I felt, very early that I need to find a " wire ", themes, topics, and my way was clearly defined: Travel Watches, Alarms, Chronographs, Diving Watches, and Military Watches.

So you know... First know yourself, then you'll know. ;-)

Best,

Nicolas
