On another note, I love that strap on that watch. If you’re looking for another, one of my fave strap makers based in Ukraine can make a killer black shark with orange stitching. The texture of shark skin would look good with the texture of that dial. He does my straps WAY less than bespoke makers

This strap is actually very cheap and plastic-y (including the sound it makes). It came free in a buy 2 get 1 free deal. But I run a tight ship, no straps to waste.

My wife has her own collection; one son momentarily showed interest.
But now she rarely wears a watch (after all, who leaves the house any more?) and my son completely lost interest. That is fine with me; watches are time-consuming and expensive and should only be pursued if one is really motivated.
