I´ve always been in love with the Monaco (only in the blue dial version, the original one IMO). I´ve been two or three times in the last years thinking about buy one, but always there were something (another watch) that made it impossible. One of the only... 

So if it works on your wrist, my friend, you may consider getting it. Because it is really a superb, original, and strong piece. And for once, it changes a bit from the Dikving Thema, don't you think? Best, my friend. Nicolas

it changes in diving watches thema, of course ... but it´s one of these two or three watches that i´d add in my collection. Always I´ve been atrackted by this watch, it´s really nice and with lot of History behind. A some years love, b... 

I once tried on a vintage Monaco, not a McQueen model, and had the same experience as you. In your hand or on a table, lovely. On the wrist....it just doesn't blend correctly. Perhaps it's the severity of the case shape. (Similar experience with a Ploprof...

we have similar tastes my friend. Although I like the watch and the idea I also tried one (re-edition) but it also did not look right on my I used to own a Monza, but sold it as it seemed a tad small on me- I like bigger sport watches cheers

Another Great Heuer I would consider adding to my collection is the Carrera, the original model from 64 if I'm not wrong. This is a nice round case, with 2 counters, very sober and elegant, sized around 38 mm. Best, Nicolas

...this is interesting, Nicolas, as I've had the same experience with other square/rectangular watches. I love them in photos and when holding them, but the minute I try them on my wrist they lose some appeal. I think I'm just not used to wearing that sha... 

I have this problem more with square than rectangular watches, loike the Reversos, the Lange Cabaret, or a karrée G.O. But with this Monaco, I have this problem.... Very sad, as I love this watch. Best, Nicolas
