There are many things in daily life that we assume and rely upon for or safety, commerce, convenience, enjoyment, etc. Ex: "That driver will understand and obey the line of paint in the road and not collide with my car." Reasonable assumption? Other things about which we might exercise caution. Ex: "I slipped and fell on a patch of ice on a stormy winter day." Personal responsibility?
