Impossible! Seriously, it's pretty much an unknown event for a non-specialist reporter to get a technical matter right. I would be astonished if JLC had actually claimed that their watch was the most complicated in the world; more likely the reporter thought it must be and either didn't bother to research it or was not familiar enough with the field to find the correct answer.
