Worldtimers
Hi folks
I was on the market for a worldtimer recently, and I did not find any seriously helpful comparison thread. I actually did choose and buy mine eventually.,..but I thought it coudl e interesting to see the Purists thoughts about them.
These the alternatives I was considering:
PP 5130
Lange 1 (.....ok it is not properly a woldtimer....but...)
VC 86060 WT
GP WW.tc (I have to be honest this I was not seriously considering - will explain why - but i feel it shoud belong here anyway)

I Think That You Left One Out
I agree that the Patek is the clear winner among the watches you name, but, in my opinion, it gets much closer competition from Andersen's Worldtimers than from any of your other candidates.

Figure out the functionality first.
If you want to be able to go on a trip, set the time zone, and then look at your wrist and find out what time it is and also what time it is at home, many of them are useless (unless you are able to read very small subdials).
