Horological Meandering

Hi All, Iam not a big fan of Breitling and had never owned one and desired for one until this one came across. This is a Navitmer reference 806 circa 1964 and as per many B specialist its a rare piece to find. It has a Venus 178 Movement and the piece acq...  

Like you, not really following Breitling, but I do dream of getting an 806 soon. I was this close to getting one in London a couple of months ago, similar to yours. but I am holding out in favour of hopefully finding one with the black dial and black subd...

…a very nice second generation in excellent condition. BTW, that is not the AOPA logo on your dial--it is the logo Breitling put on these second gen Navitimers initially. In the second generation they added the white sundials and started selling the Navit...
