OMG really? Bruce Lee? What's next? Hublot Chuck Norris? The Hublot Muscles From Brussels? I can think of so much more Special Editions that they should hire me. Here we go: - Hublot A-Team (another collaboration with Arturo Fuente) - Hublot McGyver (coll...
... that they shouldn't even call them "special" anymore. It used to be that every time they shake someone's hand he gets an edition. Then every time they hear a song, they watch a movie, smoke a cigar, watch a race, ... and now taking a karate lesson. Un...
And apparently there is a big market for this kind of \'uniqueness\' so from a commercial point I can understand why. But that doesn\'t mean I can\'t have a laugh over it.
I use the word version instead of edition; this particular model does have a unique dial. It is in their mantra, and they do it very well. Sure, it is a different strategy than other brands, but I don't fault them for finding a successful business practic...

I buy watches for me, that I will enjoy wearing. Not to impress someone with a name, not to be part of a club or have the approval of other collectors. These micro-edition Hublots do not bother me, and what could be cooler for the individuals who are real...

I see it the same way... ;-) I want a watch from a certain brand because I like the design, the attitude and the standing of that brand. But I am still an indiviual and I think its great to have a choice and variations of the same model or type of watch.
The strap is meant to echo the track suit design that Bruce Lee wore in his last movie, Game of Death. The 'Little Dragon' Lee was our hero. Even without the association with Bruce Lee, the dragon motif is cute enough. Regards, MTF
