So let's be realistic, there was nothing Hublot could have done to make me actually like this watch, it was always going to be a blinged-out fever dream. I do want to commend them for doing something interesting with the diamonds, and using stones larger then a pinhead. Too often these high-end icecapades are simply pave set on every surface with small, undistinguished stones, with no art other the the raising of MSRP. Hublot, on the other hand, used the diamonds as part of a coherent decorative scheme and worked in some really nice princess-cut pieces.
I am a bit confused why they persist in using the antiquated color terminology though. The Wesselton mine has been closed for 50 years, call them G like the rest of the world!
