ROGER W SMITH SERIES 2
On order as of today, sent my 10% deposit and then another 30 odd % when he starts the watch in a few months time. We will meet up sometime to discuss my choice of dial and/or engraving at the back etc.
Those of you who are interested I have attached the dial variations that he sent me. I guess it caters for all tastes. I know not of another watchmaker who so actively encourages his buyers to this level of individualism. Normally its a take it or leave it attitude, I know best as it is my creation. All the dial variations are obviously still his work, but allow us, the buyers, to somehow add our own stamp on this most individual of watches.
Just shows what a delight it is to deal with this guy. He is a watch lover first and an ego second. Unusual in this field.
As an added note, can anoyone spot the deliberate(or not) mistake in the drawings?
Regards
Christakis

The new larger case 'skeleton' dial (which I saw on 'another site' is not skeleton as tradition has it normally, but sort of subtly and legibly skeletal... ) is my BY FAR favorite of any RS watch... and I want one badly!!! Thanks Jasny for telling me abou...
