In addition to what has been said... I like the shape of the hands and the inner aspect of them as well. Nice guilloche patterns too!

I know of one watch expert who mentioned that he felt the hands were too elaborate but I beg to differ as these hands to me have real character and are intricate too. And I take no credit for the hands - that is purely Armand's ingeniuty

I have been deliberating on ordering a Voutilainen but was clueless as to what the dial should look like. I think I now have a better idea but one Kari dial is enough for me Thank you for you kind comments.

if you posted photos of the hands! I love the attention to detail that Armand has paid to the watch, both front and back.

Many manufacturers overlook the buckle but it is an important piece too. The salmon and aventurine is a very appealing combo, well done!

Apparently it is designed to keep good time too which is an added bonus Yes, I too was impressed that Armand gave the buckle a personal touch. Very few manufacturers do unfortunately.

There were so many variations available of the case material, outer dial, numerals, inner dial, seconds dial, strap and even a personal engraving on the movement that at times I thought to myself, maybe I should just buy a Breguet with a guilloche dial!! ...

That’s for sure a beautiful watch and design! I especially like the combination of the dark blue aventurine ring with the salmon guilloche in the center. And the proportions of this gem seem to be perfect, too! I am looking forward to your first live pics... 

I had initially started with a blue guilloche dial which was nice but the salmon guilloche added a whole new dimension to the watch. December cannot come soon enough!

But there is always a danger of ordering a coloured dial without seeing the watch in person. There are various type of salmon coloured dials and I am praying that this one does not deviate too much from the photos. Thanks Thomas for the compliment.

because there are hardly any watches from independents available to view in Malaysia apart from the occasional Urwerk and MB&F. So as I am lover of independent brands, I have to take a chance an order a watch based on photos. Allocation to the big bra...  

looks so fantastic and has so classic dimensions that I can't imagine you making a mistake here. Also with the steel case you don't take any big risks.

but the size (how it fits my wrist) remains to be seen. 38mm and smaller and I would have been more confident! Thank your your encouraging feedback Thomas.

I have an SB05 - it was just completed so hope to get in a week or two. Armand is great. Agree its that choices can be overwhelming - I went through several ideas with multiple renderings of each.

How long did you have to wait for your watch?

It was about a 12 month wait. I went back and forth on designs as well - So many choices. Very happy with the final piece. Its in polished titanium case. Feather light on the wrist. SB-05 ...

I do not envy dial designers or perhaps it is because I am not a very creative person!
