An original 1970s Amida Digitrend
The brand didn’t have enough money back in the day to start with quartz, so they came up with an innovative way using a telescope like mirror system to have the two flat discs of the handwound watch (hour and minutes) display in a digital fashion.
A new version has just been relaunched, with a jumping hour (not featured in the original).
Also inspired a certain MB&F some years ago 😉

Is that new one coming out was initially pitched to china to mass produce the case and they stole the designs. I purchased a replica to just feel it out and it fits heavy, reads like garbage and it looks to be the exact same size and legibility as the new...
