Appreciate it, Don!
To be honest I was so intent on getting the MOP to turn out that I overlooked the blue on the hands! Probably makes sense that by getting the right optical alignment to bring out the colors in the MOP I also caught the hands just right.
Appreciate the kind comment!
Best,
Gary

Hello everyone! I've treated myself to a new lens for Christmas (lots less expensive that a new watch, alas -- perhaps next year I'll be back to adding to the tick-tock collection), and decided to turn my attention to my wife's Parmigiani Kalpa Piccola Jo...

Wow! You managed to capture the gorgeous expanse of MOP dial and pretty hue of blued hands so perfectly. Your photos keep getting better and better. Your wife is lucky to have such a pretty timepiece (and generous husband!). Cheers, Daos
Aw, shucks...

Thanks, Daos! I'm having a lot of fun working on my technique, but at the same time I'm getting more selective so my yield of perceived "keepers" is a lot lower. I still have a lot to learn with regard to the tilt/shift lens, but it's great fun testing ou...
