Both Great, Own a Sarpaneva
I think both the Sarpaneva and the O&J have a lot to be said for them.
I own a Sarpaneva Harvest Moon and love it. The quality reaches a level of perfection that surprised me, and I'm quite a stickler. The case is both unique and artistic, without being weird or overbearing. I asked for a unique version of my Harvest Moon and received the finished piece in a very timely way.
I have also spoken to Beat by email about buying an O&J. I think their aesthetic is also distinct and powerful. I'm not into brightly colored watches, but they do some fantastic work with aged bronze and other finishes that give the watches real depth. Of course, Dr. Oechslin is a genius and offers an annual calendar complication of inspired simplicity and elegance. When the checkbook is up for it, an O&J might very well be my next watch purchase.
Regards,
Jon
