Continuing with being able to but not needing to know what the tides are like - with the Habring2 Aurora πŸŒŠπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή

Recently Velociphile - someone well known from the WPS past has assessed all the current and semi-current tide complication watches on IG and the Habring2 / cronotempVs Aurora came on top in terms of actual accuracy and usability. The fact that the tide complication (the paddle shaped hand) is not squeezed into a subdial but actually allows for a precise reading and that there is a moonphase to inform the likely severity of the tides were both elements in its favor.

Still a truly offbeat complication that only a handful of mechanical watches and few brands offer.

Be that as it may, it makes for a wonderful watch with moonphase, tide and a top seconds combination that is probably unique in this combination. And a huge pleasure on the wrist.

What are you sporting this weekend? πŸ‘‹πŸ»
